Tovino's 'Tharangam' Blocks Its Release Date

Tharangam is one of the most anticipated Tovino Thomas starer Malayalam movie which is going to hit the big screen after the huge success of Godha. Now the release date of the movie has officially confirmed and it will release on 29th September 2017. It is a romantic-comedy entertainer directed by debutant Arun Dominic. Newcomer Neha Iyer and Santhy Balachandran handles the female lead roles.
Director Arun Dominic became popular through the short film Mrithyumjayam. Also, he has associated on the screenplay of Malayalam movie Style starring Unni Mukundan and Tovino Thomas. Now he has decided to do his debut directorial venture and choose Tovino to play the lead role. The expectations are on sky high for his this new upcoming film.
Tovino Thomas handles the role of Padmanabhan, a funny police officer who is ever followed by his friend Joy who is also suspended from the police department. The character Joy is played by Balu Varghese. Newcomer Neha Iyer and Santhy Balachandran will play the lead roles in this film.
Sijoy Varghese, Manoj K Jayan, Dileesh Pothen, Alencier Ley Lopez, Shammy Thilakan and Vijayaraghavan also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie. The official teaser of the movie was released through an FM station and it is for the first time that a movie teaser was released through an FM station.
Tharangam is produced by Kollywood actor Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar Films. It is the debut production venture of Dhanush in Malayalam. Ashwin Renju composes the music for the lyrics penned by Manu Manjith. Deepak D Menon is the man who behind the camera and editing is done by Sreenath S.
