Actor-Writer Shankar Ramakrishnan Turns Director With Mammootty's 'Kunjali Marakkar'

Popular script writer and actor Sankar Ramakrishnan is all set to make his directorial debut with upcoming Mammootty movie 'Kunjali Markkar'. Shankar who has shared screen space with Mammootty in several films, is also scripting this epic drama which is based on the life of legendary figure Kunjali Marakkar. Reportedly, this big budget movie will be produced by August Cinemas along with another popular production house. It is said that 'Kunjali Markkar' will have several popular Bollywood and foreign actors. The details on cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
