Mammootty's First Look From 'Uncle' Is Out

Debutant Gireesh Damodar's 'Uncle' which features megastar Mammootty in the titular role is currently going on floors at Kozhikode. Actor Joy Mathew recently took to social media page a photo from the location of 'Uncle' which unveiled Mammootty's look for the movie. Interestingly, the actor is sporting a stunning salt-n-pepper look with a thick beard. He has earlier sported a salt-n-pepper look for Ranjith directorial 'Puthan Panam'.

The story of the movie tells about a family and essays a relevant social issue. It will focused around the life of a 17 year old girl and her dad’s friend, She’s called him Uncle. Director Gireesh Damodaran is active in the industry for More than 14 years, who has assisted many directors like Ranjith, Padmakumar etc. He was waiting for along time to take a good film, now he got a good script from his friend Joy. The main shooting location should be in Ootty and Kozhikode.

Joy Mathew’s debut directorial venture was Shutter, he also scripted this film and which released in 2013. which was a notable work and won many awards. Now he turned to his new venture with a simple story, but he scripted by a long time for his friend Gireesh. Like his previous work Shutter it would also have a powerful theme, it tells the problems happens to a family and also involves some socially relevant issues. The presence of Mammootty and Joy makes the expectation of audience very high.

Also Asha Sarath, Karthika Muraleedharan, Vinay Forrt, Suresh Krishna, Kailash, Sheela, Nisha Joseph, Muthumani, Babu Annoor are also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie. Joy Mathew and Sajay Sebastian are jointly produced the movie under the banner of Abra Films in association with S J Films. Bijibal composes the music for the film, both movie tracks and back ground music are done by him. Azhagappan is the man who handles the cinematography and Art department is done by Rajeev Kovilakom.
