Hariharan: I was a huge fan of Irrfan

Mollywood filmmaker Hariharan is not the kind who raves about actors. The legendary filmmaker who has worked with stalwarts like Mammootty and Mohanlal recently told us that he was a huge fans of Irrfan, who had passed away a few days ago.
“I have watched all his films and he was one of my favourite actors. He is also one of those unconventional actors who made sure he transcended Bollywood and won international acclaim in films such as Jurassic World. It’s a huge loss for not just Indian cinema but also world cinema,” said the filmmaker.
While Hariharan said that he hadn’t met the actor personally, he made sure he caught all his films, with movies such as The Lunchbox and Paan Singh Tomar being his favourites.
