Unni Mukundan knows the importance of agriculture

Unni Mukundan appeared to affirm the recommendation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that each household should have a vegetable garden, in a recent social media post. He wrote of how he wanted to lend his father a hand on his farmland in Ottapalam but found it too hard. "The sun didn't concern my father because I found it was better to work out in the gym," the actor said.
Only when he read about actor Krishna Prasad, who is a state-winning farmer, did he realize that this research can be done by movie celebrities as well. "At a time when this pandemic could make it hard to get food, I realized that every house should have someone farming and passing a passion for the world on to the next generation," he said.
