This is a gratuitous assertion to ruin my name: Kamal
Reported By 27 Apr 2020
A Malayalam TV channel aired a documentary on Saturday claiming an ambitious Mollywood actress had leveled a charge of sexual harassment against filmmaker and Kerala Chalachitra Academy chairman Kamal. The victim had sent a legal notice to the filmmaker on April 26, 2019 that says the director offered her the lead role in his film Pranayameenukalude Kadal during Aami's shoot. It also alleges that she was 'sexually abused' by the director and that the role offered never came to pass.
When asked, Kamal says, "This is an accusation that is without basis. It's real I received a legal notice, a year ago. Once I told my lawyer, he said I needed to ask for follow-up intervention from the other side, as it was a false accusation. That didn't happen and so I dismissed it. "The director adds that he supposedly made a false statement from the TV station. "That was my reaction to yet another question. As for my remuneration, I had a dispute with a supplier and we had resolved it later. The reporter's question to me is, "Was the topic of remuneration figured out? "He's illustrating.
