Thaana serndha kootam is one of the most anticipated Suriya starer Tamil movie which is going to hit on big screen after the big success of Singam 3. It is a romantic-action thriller movie directed by the famous south Indian director Vignesh Sivan. Keerthi Suresh, Ramya Krishnan and Senthil are playing the lead characters along with Suriya. Now the release date of the movie has confirmed and it will hit the theaters on January 2018 as Pongal Release.
Director Vignesh Sivan turns to his new directorial venture and this time he has selected Suriya to play the central character. It is for the first time that Vignesh and Suriya are teaming up for a movie and it naturally heightens the expectation for Thaana Serndha Kootam. Karthik, Nandha, Sathyan, Saranya Ponvannan, Kovai Sarala, KS Ravikumar, RJ Balaji, Anandraj and Thambi Ramaiah are also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie.
Suriya handles the lead character named Baasha. He joined this venture after the success of Singam 3, directed by Hari. Suriya takes many efforts for featuring this character. He reduces 10 kg weight for maintaining the physical appearance. Famous South Indian actress Keerthi Suresh plays opposite to Suriya in this film. It is for the first time that Suriya – Keerthi pair joins for a movie. Keerthi became popular among the south audience with a short time period and she had acted with many famous south indian actors during this time. Anyway the fans are waiting for the movie of their much beloved persons – Suriya and Keerthi.
Thaana Serntha Koottam is produced by Suriya and KE Gnanavel Raja under the banners 2D Entertainment and Studio Green. Youth sensation Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film. National award winner Sreekar Prasad is is in charge of the cuts while Dinesh Krishnan handles the cinematography.
