Surabhi Lakshmi recollects her award-winning national moment

Surabhi Lakshmi is going down her memory lane and recollecting her moment to receive the most coveted National Award for Best Actress.
At the 64th National Film Awards Mollywood actress Surabhi Laksmi received the best actress award for her appearance in 'Minnaminungu,' a film directed by Anil Thomas. The award was also unique for the industry in Malayalam as the star is the fifth Mollywood actress to win such an honor. The other actors who won the National Awards for Best Actress were Sharada, Monisha, Shobana and Meera Jasmine. Director Anil Thomas spotted the talented actress in 'Ayalum Njanum Thammil' after seeing her enthralling performance.
The actress has written an emotional note on her social media account to recollect the esteemed moment. Surabhi Lakhsmi wrote: "The bonuses most enjoyed! 64th National Film Festival. 'Minnaminungu,' the director Anil Thomas is thankful, had allowed me to do just that. Thank you, sir. Thank you so much for choosing me!!! Thank you for putting this fantastic responsibility on me.
