Streetlights Movie First Look Poster Released

Streetlights is an upcoming bilingual crime thriller directed by the well known cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen. It is for the first time that he wears the cap of director and the film features Megastar Mammootty, Joy Mathew, Dharmajan Bolgatty and Lijomol Jose are in the lead roles. The first look poster of the movie was released by Mammootty through his official Facebook page.
The film will simultaneously release in Tamil and Malayalam languages. Shamdat Sainudeen turned to his debut directorial venture with a story based on a mystery of murder and it shows the investigation to reveal the mystery. He entered into industry as a cinematographer through the film Premayanamaha in 2004. From there he captured many scenes for different movies and his recent works were Uttama Villain, Viswaroopam and Oozham. Shamdat – Mammootty combination has naturally heightened the expectations for this film among the audience.
Mammootty plays the lead male character, in which he appears in the role of an investigation officer. Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan fame Lijomol Jose features an important character in this film. Neena Kurup, Sohan Seenulal, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Harish Kanaran, Manobala, Black Pandi are also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie. The main shooting locations are in Theni, Kochi, Pollachi and Chennai.
This film would be a special one to Mammootty, why because he produces the film under the banner of Playhouse Pictures. The movie is written by debutant Fawaz Muhammed. Adarsh Abraham handles the music department for the film, both movie tracks and back ground music are done by him. Director Shamdat himself is cranking the camera and editing is done by Manoj.
