Shane Nigam to play an artist in Painkili

Painkili is an upcoming Malayalam romantic-comedy movie directed by debutant Devan. The movie is scripted by newcomer Praveen Balakrishnan and it features Shane Nigam in the lead role. As the name implies it would be a romantic comedy entertainer and Movie lovers are desperately waiting another hit film from this brilliant actor.
Director Devan is making his debut directorial venture through this film. He has chosen a different theme and opt Shane Nigam to play the central character in this film rather than go for any super stars. It will be a complete entertainer with a lot of humor, romance and suspense which entertain all kind of audience. According to reports, the movie will go on the floors in February 2018.
Shane Nigam plays the lead male character in this movie. He plays the role of an artist in this film. For the perfection of the character Shane would increase his body weight and he also practicing dance. He never handled this type of character ever in his acting career and would be a challenging one for him. The heroine and the rest of the cast are not finalized.
Currently Shane is going through the best phase of his career with some prestigious projects in his kitty, including movies like B Ajithkumar’s Eeda, Shaji N Karun’s Oolu, debutant Dimel’s Valiya Perunnal and Dileesh Pothan‘s Kumbalangi Nights. Painkili is produced by Jose Kaithamattam and Christy Kaithamattam under the banner of Good Company & Angel Works. Music department is handled by Varun Sunil, who is the founder of famous music band Masala Coffee. While Ayoob Khan is in charge of the cuts.
