Shafi, Benny P Nayarambalam to team up with Chackochan

Hit combo Shafi and Benny P Nayarambalam, who were behind superhit movies like Kalyanaraman and Marykkundoru Kunjaadu are teaming up once again after a long gap of seven years for a Kunchacko Boban starrer. The trio had earlier teamed up for Kalyanaraman and Lollypop. Benny P Nayarambalam badly needs a comeback as his last few movies including Velipadinte Pusthakam, Welcome to central jail and Bhaiyya Bhaiyya were not up to the mark. The yet-to-be-titled movie will go on floors in 2018. Kunchacko Boban is currently on a break after the first schedule shooting of Kuttanadan Marpapa, directed by debutant Sreejith Vijayan. His next release will be Shikkari Shambhu, written by Nishad Koya and directed by Sugeeth. Shikkari Shambu, which also features Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Sshivada, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Hareesh Perumanna, Salim Kumar and newbie Alphonsa, is expected to hit theatres in January 2018.
