Sanal Kumar Sasidharan Withdraws 'Sexy Durga' From IFFK 2017

Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has withdrawn his internationally acclaimed movie 'Sexy Durga' from the International Film Festival of Kerala 2017. 'Sexy Durga' was one of the seven films which have been selected to be screened in the Malayalam Cinema Today section of the festival. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan announced in a Facebook post that he is withdrawing the film from the festival as he did not think his film needed promotion. The movie which has won many international awards was expected to make it into the competition section of IFFK. Sanju Surendran's 'Aedan' and Prem Shankar's 'Randu Peru' are the two Malayalam movies which won the entry to the competition section of the festival.
