Parvathy starrer 'Varthaman' denied Censor certificate?

The social media is now debating vehemently about the alleged denial of a certificate from the Censor Board for Sidhartha Shiva’s Varthamanam, which has Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead.
The controversy began with a tweet from Adv. V Sandeep Kumar, who is reportedly a BJP leader and Censor Board member, where he writes that the movie’s theme is “anti-national”. According to him, the movie talks about the issues against Dalits and Muslims during the JNU agitation.
There has been no official confirmation about the Censor Board decision but questions have already been raised on social media about the tweet.Parvathy Thiruvothu and Roshan Mathew are playing the lead in Varthamanam, which has been scripted by Aryadan Shoukath.
