Parava is a Malayalam romantic-comedy drama directed by actor turned filmmaker Soubin Shahir. The director his self-penned the script along with his friend Muneer Ali. It features Shane Nigam, Jacob Gregory, Siddique and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The main highlight of the movie is the presence of Mollywood youth icon Dulquer Salmaan, who handles a guest role in this film. The movie was released on Thursday, September 21.
The film essays under the backdrop of pigeon racing practiced in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry regions. Indrans, Jacob Gregory, Arjun Ashokan (s/o Harisree Ashokan), Zinil Zainudeen (S/o actor Zainudeen), Srinda Arhaan, sreenath Bhasi, Jaffar Idukki, Aashiq Abu, Shine Tom Chacko and several newcomers are also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie. The film is produced under the banner of Anwar Rasheed Entertainments in association with The Movie Club and the movie distributes by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments.
As per the official reports, Parava grossed 2.70 crores on its first day. The movie released in more than 130 releasing centers with a decent number of shows, The tag of Dulquer Salmaan made a big hype for this movie and he proved once again that he is one of the best crowd pullers of Malayalam film industry.2.7 crores from the initial days is a good number in Kerala box office and we expect a good overall collection for this movie.This is a tremendous collection for the movie and the positive reviews of the film help to improve the collection in the future days.
Rex Vijayan handles the music for the film, Littil Swayamp is the man who behind the camera while editing is done by Praveen Prabhakar.
