New face in Abrid shine’s poomaram

A new face picked from a youth festival venue will become the heroine of the film to be directed by Abrid Shine, after his super hit Action Hero Biju. Classical Dancer Architha Aneesh is the heroine, Archita is a known name in campus youth festival circuits. The classical dancer from St. Teresa's College, has the rare distinction of winning the kalathilakam title for four consecutive years in university fests.
Poomaram is a film set against the backdrop of college campus. Poomaram also stars Kunchacko Boban, Meera Jasmine, Gayathri Suresh and many other supporting actors. The song, Njanum Njanumentalum, released last year was a huge sensation and popularised the movie among the masses. It was sung and composed by debutant Faizal Razi. Gnanam is the cinematographer of this campus entertainer while Jith Joshie will handle the edits. The movie is jointly produced by Dr Paul Varghese and Abrid Shine
