Mohanlal’s villain to release in 8k resolution

The next movie Mohanlal is shooting for is 'Villain', which is being directed by B Unnikrishnan. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and Mohanlal will be sporting a salt and pepper look for the same. The director is using the Helium 8K camera in the weapon series of the RED Digital Cinema Company. 'Vilain' is probably the first Indian movie to be shot entirely in 8K resolution. The movie will also comprise a lot of VFX and special effects and a company in Poland have been roped in for handling the same. The movie is reportedly being made on a scale of Rs. 30 Cr. Rockline Venkatesh is producing 'Villain'.
