Mohanlal’s pulimurugan Does a rare feat

Mohanlal is a lead actor in Malayalam cine field. The movie Pulimurugan, starring Mohanlal, has shattered many records. As a matter of fact, the movie, which hit the silver screens on October 7, 2016, is still running in some theaters in Kerala. Nowadays, when the number of releases is on a steep hike, it is very rare to witness Malayalam movies crossing 150 days in theaters. But now, Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan has now proceeded a step further.
The movie is still continuing to perform in two centers, Ernakulam and Calicut. In Ernakulam, the Mohanlal movie is running in the theater Cinepolis whereas, in Calicut, the movie is running in PVS Film City. In a positive development, the movie Pulimurugan will be completing 175 days of run on March 30, 2017.
Pulimurugan will always find it’s name in the history books of Mollywood, not only for becoming the first Malayalam movie to enter the 100 crore club but also for inspiring many filmmakers to plan big budget movies. Currently, there are many big budget movies in the beginning stages in Malayalam and the gargantuan success of Pulimurugan is the catalyst for that.
