Masterpiece Will release GCC on January first week

Mammootty’s latest release Masterpiece, directed by Ajai Vasudev is garnering mixed responses from audiences. Now, the makers have announced that the movie will be hitting screens in UAE and GCC regions on January 4, Thursday by Phars film. The movie has, reportedly, got a record-breaking opening at the Kerala box-office. According to the director, the movie, which was released on 255 screens, has minted a record gross collection of 5.11 Crore on its opening day. Written by Udayakrishna and directed by Ajai Vasudev, Masterpiece tells how Edward Livingstone, a strict college professor rescues college students from a serious trouble. The movie also stars Unni Mukundan, Gokul Suresh, Mukesh, Salim Kumar, Maqbool Salmaan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Captain Raju, Bijukuttan, Mahima Nambiar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar among others. It is produced by C. H. Muhammed under the banner of Royal Cinemas.
