Mamta is able to reprise Big B Rimi in Bilal

The character of Mamta Mohandas, Rimi is the Big B of Amal Neerad was probably one of her most noted roles before her career shifted gears. There was much talk of the scenes and song that feature the romance of Rimi and Murugan Kurishingal (played by Bala).
The actress is now all set to take over Rimi's part in Big B's sequel called Bilal. The film will also feature all of the original returning big actors including Mammootty, Bala and Manoj K Jayan.
Mamta tells us on the series, "I am deeply excited. Big B was Amal's first film and I'm sure we will all return to crazy nostalgia once we start shooting. This will be an opportunity for us to enjoy locally. We all look forward to it, and are excited about the latest addition to the Bilal team. It's a franchise movie after all, so Rimi will be Rimi, only a few notches better, mature and a little more part of the Kurishingal family. Now she's one of them, not looked at as an outsider.
