Mammootty to speak Thrissur slang again in his next

Mammootty, the actor who has amazed us several times with his easiness in handling various dialects, is all set to speak Thrissur slang again in his upcoming movie Kaatalan Porinju. The actor will be seen playing the titular role of Porinju, who was an infamous person in Thrissur in the early 1980s. This action drama will be helmed by Tom Emmatty of Oru Mexican Aparatha fame. The script works for the movie is currently progressing in a brisk pace. Meanwhile, Mammootty is busy with the shooting of Abrahaminte Santhathikal, scripted by Haneef Adeni and directed by Saji Padoor. His next release, Streetlights, will hit the screens on this republic day. The movie, directed by cinematographer turned filmmaker Shamdat Sainudheen, also features Joy Mathew, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Hareesh Perumanna, Lijomol Jose and Neena Kurup in important roles.
