Mammootty's 'Kasaba' sequel on cards!

Filmmaker Renji Panicker's son Nithin Renji Panicker made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer cop tale 'Kasaba' that grabbed the attention of all for its misogynist hero. On the occasion of the movie's fourth anniversary, the makers of the movie have hinted at a sequel.
The film’s producer Joby George posted on his social media: “Four years ago, during this time, we were busy giving the final touches… for Rajan Zachariah’s coming… Born as a man… The machismo-oozing golden avatar… Anyone can say anything but I know that Rajan is the king of Malayalam cinema. If destiny favours, Rajan Zakariya will be back once again.”
'Kasaba' tells the story of a macho police officer Zakriah who is investigating the murder of a couple very close to his senior officer. Kollywood actress Varalaxi Sarathkumar made her Mollywood debut with the film playing a negative shaded role.
