Jayaram’s Aakasha Mittayee gets an October release date

Veteran actor Jayaram’s upcoming movie Aakasha Mittayee, which marks the directorial debut of Kollywood actor-director Samuthirakani in Mollywood, is gearing up to grace the screens on October 6. Aakasha Mittayee is the Malayalam remake of his own Tamil movie Appa. The movie features Iniya, Kalabhavan Shajon, Innocent, Irshad, Anil Murali, Sarayu Mohan, Nandana Varma, among others in important roles. The film has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by Alagappan. Meanwhile, Jayaram’s next directed by actor Salim Kumar will go on floors on October 10. This yet-to-be-titled movie features Mamta Mohandas as the female lead. This will be the third directorial venture of Salim Kumar after Compartment and Karutha Joodhan. The movie is jointly produced by Alwin Antony and Dr. Zachariah Thomas under the banner of Ananya Films in association with UGM Entertainment.
