Ilaiyaraaja Sings A Song For Maari 2

Dhanush is shooting for Maari 2, which is the sequel to his 2015 film Maari. The movie will be directed by Balaji Mohan, who directed the first part also. And now the latest buzz that we have heard is that music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has sung a song in the flick.
The whole team of Maari 2 felt blessed and honor to listen to Ilaiyaraaja singing the song. Dhanush even took to Twitter and wrote, “So happy to announce that maestro isaignani Ilayaraja sir sang a song today for Maari 2. What a delightful divine experience. We feel so blessed and super thrilled.” He also shared pictures from the recording sessions.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for Maari 2. Apart from Dhanush, the flick will also feature Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Tovino Thomas. Maari 2 will mark Sai Pallavi’s second Tamil film. She makes her Kollywood debut with the movie Karu which releases in February.
