Kalyanam features actor Mukesh’s son Shravan Mukesh in the lead role. It is Shravan’s debut movie.The second song from the movie Kalyanam sung by actors Dulquer Salmaan and Gregory Jacob will be released on January 16.

Dulquer Salmaan’s first attempt as a singer was for the movie ABCD in which he sang the song Johny mone Johny... under the music direction of Gopi Sundar. He lent his voice again for Chundari Penne.. (Charlie) and Vaanam thilathilakkanu.. (Comrade in America).
Written and directed by debutant Rajesh Nair, Kalyanam features Varsha Bollamma in the female lead. Mukesh, Sreenivasan and Gregory Jacob are also part of the cast. Govind Vijayan, Summesh Maddhu and Rajesh Radhakrishnan Nair have penned the script. The cinematography is handled by Binendra Menon whereas the editing is done by Sooraj E S. Rajesh Nair, K K Radhamohan and Dr. T K Udaya Bhanu have produced this romantic comedy under the banners of Vaya Films and Sri Sathya Sai Arts. Muzik247 is the official music partner.
