Director Vidhu Vincent ends ties with WCC

Vidhu Vincent, who directed movies like Manhole and Stand Up, has stated in her Facebook post that she is ending ties with Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) movement due to “personal and political reasons.”
WCC attained great significance in the aftermath of the shocking incident where a prominent actress was attacked. Vidhu was one of the active members of WCC, often interacting with the media, representing the forum.
The comments below the post asks for her to explain her decision now. Manhole had won awards at the Kerala State film awards and also at IFFK.
