As 'Summer In Bethlehem' completes 22 years, Ranjith and Sibi Malayil team up again

Summer In Bethlehem, written by Ranjith and directed by Siby Malayil, came in 1998. The movie, which had Manju Warrier, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Kalabhavan Mani in the main cast and Mohanlal in an extended cameo role, is still loved by viewers.
Now Ranjith and Siby are teaming up again, though the roles are different. Ranjith is producing Siby Malayil’s forthcoming venture, in which Asif Ali plays the hero.
Siby Malayil is one of the finest directors in Malayalam movie history with such classic hits like Thaniyavarthanam, Kireedam, Dasharadham, His Highness Abdulla and Bharatham to his credit. His last movie as a director was the 2015 movie Saigal Paadukayaanu.
