Aparna Balamurali Plays An Interesting Character In 'Kaamuki'
Reported By 20 Nov 2017
Aparna Balamurali has always chosen bold and strong characters in her career so far and in her latest film 'Kaamuki' with Askar Ali, will also have her in an interesting role. She is paired opposite to Askar in the movie and will be seen as a tomboy. "I play a chattambi named Achamma in the film. It's a very different from what I have done and a feisty girl in contrast with Askar's visually impaired character," Aparna has been quoted saying in a recent interview.
Kamuki’s director is noted for his debut movie Ithihasa. The movie which belongs to a fantasy- fun entertainer category had Shine Tom Chacko, Balu Varghese, and Anusree in the lead roles. Upon release, the movie garnered positive reviews and emerged as a sleeper hit. His second film Style starring Unni Mukundan and Tovino Thomas in the lead failed to click in the box office.
The director will be hoping to get back to winning ways with Kamuki. He is also jointly producing this movie with Unmesh Unnikrishnan under the banner of Ithihasa Movies. The movie is expected hit theatres by the beginning of next year.
