Anwar Rasheed’s next as a director is a Tamil flick

Ace filmmaker Anwar Rasheed will make his directorial debut in Tamil with Kaithi fame Arjun Das in the lead. The director revealed this in his interview with onmanorama portal. The movie is being scripted by Anjaam Paathira director Midhun Manuel Thomas.
Anwar, who made his return to direction after a break with Trance earlier this year, is also producing Premam director Alphonse Puthren’s next and a big screen version of the comedy series, Othalanga Thuruthu.
Anwar Rasheed has directed movies like Rajamanikyam, Chotta Mumbai, Annan Thambi and Ustad Hotel, besides two movies as part of the anthologies Kerala Café and Anchu Sundarikal.
