Actress Anupama Parameswaran has achieved big success in Tamil and Telugu but Malayalis still remember her as Mary in the blockbuster launchpad, Premam.
After Premam, she had a cameo role in James & Alice and then played one of Dulquer Salmaan’s heroines in Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017). Now she returns to Malayalam in Dulquer’s production, Maniyarayile Ashokan.
Now in an interview with Times of India, Anupama says that she had left Malayalam after social media abuses following the release of Premam. She was labelled as a girl with attitude and that made her decide to stay away from Malayalam.
Besides acting in Manayarayile Ashokan, Anupama is an assistant director in the movie as well.
