Debutant Phantom Praveen 'Udhaharanam Sujatha' starring Manju Warrier hit theatres for Pooja festival. The movie although had a slow start at the box office, opened to an impressive response from the critics. But unfortunately, the positive reviews are not helping the movie much. As per the latest reports, 'Udhaharanam Sujatha' has only managed to fetch Rs 4.79 Crores from its 23 days of its theatrical run. It's quite an average performance for a movie at Kerala box office. Outside Kerala collection reports are yet to be out.
Manju Warrior is playing the role of an single mother of a daughter who has been widow named Sujatha from Chenkalchoola region. The film deals with the story of Sujatha and her odd jobs which she has done all for her 15 year old daughter. Udhaharanam Sujatha also features Mamtha Mohandas as an IAS offier along with Joju George and Nedumudi Venu. Major portion to be canned in Chenkalchoola area and it is being helmed by Phantom Praveen.
