Megastar Mammootty to wear khaki again

Megastar Mammootty will do a khaki again. He will play a cop in noted cinematographer Shamdat’s debut film. It was Shamdat who wielded camera for Viswaroopam 2, Uthama Villain, Oozham and Role Models.
The film will be a crime thriller. The film doesn’t have a heroine. Vishnu Unnikrishnan of Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan and Lijo Mol are the other main characters of the film. The film has not been named yet. The film will be shot in Kochi, Chennai and Pollachi. The shooting of the film will begin on March 24.
Mammootty is presently busy with the shoot of 7th Day director Syam Dhar's film. He plays a teachers’ trainer. Ratheesh Ravi pens script for the film. Deepti Sathi and Asha Sharath are the heroines of the film. Mammootty has The Great Father, Puthenpanam and a Tamil film titled Peranbu awaiting release this year.
