'Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham' to release on Mar 26

Director Priyadarshan’s Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, which has Mohanlal in the title role, will hit the theatres on Mar 26.
The movie was originally planned for release in March 2020, but had to be postponed due to the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The big-budget historical drama, set in the 16th century, is based on the heroic life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, the naval admiral of the erstwhile ruler of Malabar region.The announcement comes a day after the Kerala government’s decision that theatres can be opened from Jan 5 onwards.
