'Ezra' Actress Replaces Amala Paul In Nivin Pauly's 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'

Rosshan Andrrews’s next big-budget venture starring Nivin Pauly in the titular role supposed to have Amala Paul playing the female lead. But the latest we hear is that Priya Anand has been signed for the movie as Amala had to opt out of the project due to some undisclosed reasons. This will the second Malayalam movie of Priya, who played the female lead in Prithviraj’s horror thriller Ezra. The movie also features Sunny Wayne, Babu Antony, Manikandan Achari and Kannada actress Priyanka Thimmesh in significant roles. Scripted by writer duo Bobby-Sanjay, Kayamkulam Kochunni tells the story of Kochunni, a famous highwayman. The film is being produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sri Gokulam Movies. The shooting of the movie is currently progressing in Mangalore.
