'Aakasha Mittayi' Gets Censored; All Set For A Release

Jayaram starrer 'Aakasha Mittayi' which marks the Malayalam directorial debut of veteran Tamil actor-director Samdrakani is slated for release this Friday. The movie completed its censoring formality recently, bagging a clean 'U' and a runtime of 137 minutes. Jayaram and Iniya star in the lead roles of this family drama. Kalabhavan Shajohn also plays a prominent role in the movie. 'Aakasha Mittayee' is the remake of his own well acclaimed Tamil movie ‘Appa’. Ilairaja has composed the tracks of this family drama which narrates the relationship between a father and son. It is last year Samuthirakani marked his acting debut in Mollywood through Mohanlal starrer ‘Oppam’.
Meanwhile, Jayaram’s next directed by actor Salim Kumar. This will be the third directorial venture of Salim Kumar after Compartment and Karutha Joodhan. The movie is jointly produced by Alwin Antony and Dr. Zachariah Thomas under the banner of Ananya Films in association with UGM Entertainment.
