Sai Dhanshika to make Tollywood debut with Surya Tej’s Mela

Sai Dhanshika who played Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter in Kabali is all set to foray into Tollywood with upcoming bilingual Telugu-Tamil film Mela, to be helmed by debutant Kiran Sripuram. The talented actress has been the part of several big budgets and hit Tamil movie and now she is going to grab the attention of Telugu audiences with her performance skills. She will be seen sharing the screen space with actor Surya Tej, of Vinayakudu fame in Mela. The sources say, “Sai Dhanshika loved the script very much. It is a power-packed story in which her character is going to be interesting. The makers are also planning to release the film in Malayalam. A separate set of artists will be roped in for the Tamil and Telugu versions."
The movie is expected to go on the floor in the last week of October. Surya Tej, who has been looking for a break for a while now, says, “The character in Mela is going to give me scope for performing as it has a lot of variations. I am quite excited.” Santosh Konka has taken the responsibility to bankroll the film and the camera work will be done by National Award-winner Mohan Reddy whereas Sukku will render the tunes.
On the other side, Sai Dhanshika has multiple projects in her hands like Vizhithiru, Kaathadi, Kaalakkoothu which are in different stage of productions.
