Tamannaah to team up with Thalapathy Vijay?

A section of the media has reported that Tamannaah Bhatia will be paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay in his upcoming film with director AR Murugadoss. Tamannaah and Vijay had earlier acted together in Sura, which is the 50th film of the actor.
However, sources close to Vijay say that the report is nothing but a baseless rumour as they haven't initiated talks with any actress yet. Only last week, Murugadoss gave the final narration to Vijay, and currently, they are in talks to finalize the budget with Sun Pictures, the producers of the film.
Thaman has been confirmed to score music for the film but Murugadoss and Vijay are yet to lock the rest of the cast and crew. Meanwhile, Tamannaah has been getting a lot of get well soon messages from her friends and fans after the parents of the actress tested positive for COVID-19.
