Rithika Singh Plays A Lively And Independent Girl In ‘Guru’

Actress Rithika Singh stunned everyone with her amazing performance in her maiden Telugu film titled ‘Guru’ in which she played the role of a rustic fisherwoman. The movie starred actor Venkatesh opposite her. And now the actress is preparing for her upcoming Tamil film ‘Vanangamudi’, helmed by Selva.
Talking about her role in the film, Rithika said, “I will be seen as a lively and independent girl in the film, but there’s more to her than what meets the eye. The role brings out several shades in me as the plot unfolds. It’s the script and the character that excites and pushes me to explore new terrains.”
Having done a couple of Tamil films, Rithika who has been born and brought up in Mumbai, said that she can speak Tamil very well now. “I am comfortable speaking in Tamil because I constantly listen to my staff and people speaking on the sets. Moreover, understanding the language helps in expressing better. I would love to dub for my lines to make my role look more authentic,” she said.
