Catherine Tresa in Bogan remake
Reported By 29 Aug 2017
Catherine Tresa has been signed as the heroine in the upcoming yet-to-be-titled Telugu remake of Tamil thriller, Bogan that starred Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami. A source confirms, "Catherine will play Hansika's role from the original. She is kicked about being part of the project as she really liked Bogan."
The Kadamban actress will be paired with Ravi Teja in the film, to be directed by Lakshman, who also made the original.
Ravi Teja will be playing Jayam Ravi's role of an honest cop who's affected by the villain being able to impersonate him.
"Arvind Swami won't be part of the remake. The makers are on the lookout for someone to play his role. He was not keen on doing another remake after last year's Dhruva," the source adds.
The project will roll from November. The source further adds that the second half of the film will be slightly changed for this remake. "The second half will be even more emotional. The changes are being made to suit Telugu sensibilities."
