Baahubali 2: The conclusion first day box office collection report

Ace director SS Rajamouli’s highly awaited directorial epic action drama Baahubali 2 has been released on Friday with enormous hype among fans as well as audience globally and as expected received overwhelmed response from them. Everyone got impressed with this magnum opus and showed big thumbs up to it. Once again SS Rajamouli has proved the power of his great imagination and made everyone to give standing ovation. Except few ones, all the critics have reacted in the complete favor of Baahubali 2. As per them, the latest installment is more gripping and spectacular than the first part. With such super positive words, the movie has gained strong word of mouth. Sequel to the 2015’s blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning, the latest one continues from where the previous ended and reveals the reason ‘why did Katappa kill Baahubali?’. Interestingly, so far IPL was affecting the movies to perform at box office but now IPL is being affected by Baahubali 2. On the opening day, this Prabhas, Anushka Shetty & Rana Daggubati starrer opened on an earth shattering note, reported 80-90% of occupancy across the country for morning shows. Reportedly, it collected more than 30 crores with it’s advance booking only at domestic box office, which is a record in itself. From evening shows, Baahubali 2 witnessed more footfalls and at the end registered highest ever opening of Indian cinema with approx. 110 crores of nett business including all the versions, which is way higher than the earlier predictions. With this, SS Rajamouli’s directorial has created history to enter in 100 crore club on the first day domestically. With it’s Hindi version, Baahubali 2 collected around 35 crores nationwide and emerged as the highest opener of the year so far by dominating SRK’s Raees (20.42 crores). From Andhra Pradesh & Telangana with almost 100% of occupancy, it raked around 45 crores. While 15 crores from Tamil Nadu, 10 crores from Karnataka and 5 crores from Kerala.
These records are not less than a miracle and quite difficult to break for upcoming biggies. In overseas market to, Baahubali 2 has recorded phenomenal business and heading to become the highest grossing Indian movie of all time at worldwide box office.
