Sivakarthikeyan is busting a myth on Kollywood
Reported By 27 Mar 2020
Recently when we caught hold of Sivakarthikeyan he was at his most candid. The actor talked with us on a variety of subjects, from talking about his definition of a relationship to his taking on movies and the parameters that determine his choices.
When we asked him to share a theory about Kollywood with us that he feels is not real, and he promptly told us, "Some believe that if a movie gets delayed, it won't do well at the box office. That is absolutely not true. We changed Rajini Murugan's release date to three times but it did a good job. Even Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal was in the making for quite some time, but it did have some positive reviews.
The actor is currently working on two films-Ayalaan from Ravikumar and Doctor from Nelson. Ravikumar had told us, "So many Hollywood movies have shown aliens. There is Koi Mil Gaya also in Bollywood which features Jaado, the alien. I read that an artist's prosthetics were used by the makers to make him appear like an alien. But this is all VFX, here. So when Sivakarthikeyan shoots in real-time, he really doesn't have any relation to the alien to be seen on video. We have a little boy to stand in front of him to support him, so that he can look at someone and behave.
