Sasikumar volunteers with cops in Madurai

We announced recently that Nikhila Vimal volunteered for those affected by the lockdown in Kannur, Kerala, at a call center catering. And now, Sasikumar is added to the list. In Madurai, the director-actor had offered to ensure that people obey lockout laws.
A source states, "The government has declared a shutdown to avoid coronavirus from spreading, and has advised the public to remain at home. Even though, there are a handful of people who do not follow the directives who are on the highways, disturbing police operations, endangering their life who putting others in risk. Sasikumar joined hands with the cops in Madurai to raise awareness about the importance of remaining at home and keeping social space. He had worked for them for a day as a mentor.The source adds, “He advised people who were on the roads without purpose. He stopped people who were riding and told them that cops were on the streets, away from their family, so that we are safe, and so, it’s important we understand that and help them by staying home. Sasikumar’s this gesture has been winning a lot of appreciation.”
