People living in Abu Dhabi must be eagerly waiting for the team of Tiger Zinda Hai. They must be counting days regarding the shoot of the movie. Yes, the team of team of director Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai is all set to visit the capital of the United Arab Emirates for the next leg of shoot which will begin from May 4.
Tiger Zinda Hai which is produced by Yash Raj Films will shoot in the city for 65 days, the longest time any Hindi movie has been filmed in Abu Dhabi. The film’s main lead Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif along with the entire cast and crew are set to visit the city for the shoot. The construction of 20,000-sq. metre backlot has already begun.
The makers have hired around 150 workers for a total 100 days to create the film’s main set. It seems that the makers want everything to be perfect therefore they have approached many workers who helped to build the Star Wars set in Abu Dhabi in 2013. Moreover, we have got to know the team will shoot at several other locations around Abu Dhabi before moving onto the set.
A 300 member crew from India, the US and the UK is expected to work on the production. Abu Dhabi-based freelancers have also been hired to work along with the crew members. Even the UAE military is doing all that they can do to help the filmmakers. They will be providing military equipment, including choppers during the shoot.
