Appani Sarath To Star In Mani Ratnam’s Next

According to the latest updates, it has been learned that Appani Sarath has bagged director Mani Ratnam’s next project. The actor seems to be very excited about it in spite of having his hands full with three other films from Kollywood. Te actor revealed that the shooting of the film is set to commence in March this year.
Moreover, the film has been titled Chekka Chivandha Vaanam, which has an ensemble cast. Also, Sarath, who recently wrapped up his last shoot for Sandakozhi 2 said, “By the time the shoot was over, I was called for this project. It is more of a character role. In Sandakozhi, I play a negative role. The other Tamil film I am part of is yet to be named”.
Meanwhile, being a multi-starrer the film comprises of actors Aravind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathy, Chimbu, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Prakash Raj, Thiagarajan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aiswarya Lakshmi, in crucial roles. Sarath will also be seen in a Malayalam project, Contessa, where he will play a protagonist.
