'Indian 2' shocks Shankar after restarting work

Kamal Haasan's mega-budget 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar is the sequel of the duo's 1996 pan Indian blockbuster that has fans waiting with bated breath for what is in store. However the production itself has ran into a lot of trouble right from the start. There have been delays galore including a makeup failure, the gruesome on the set accident that killed three people and now the coronavirus pandemic which has brought proceedings to a standstill.
Partial post-production work for 'Indian 2' is said to have started and insiders say that Shankar and his team were in for a bit of a shock as the footage shot so far runs for almost five hours. There is about forty percent more to can and the sources add that Shankar and Lyca Productions are contemplating to release the film in two parts. Now that sure is good news for fans of the film and the magic of Kamal and Shankar.
'Indian 2' has music score by Anirudh and the ensemble cast comprises of Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Manobala and Nedumudi Venu.
