Parambarai (English: Hereditary) is a 1996 Tamil drama film, directed by K.s Ravikumar, starring Prabu and Roja in lead roles. The film, produced by Malar Balu and K. Dhandapani, had musical score by Deva, and was released on 15 January 1996. The films did fairly well at the box-office.Paramasivan, a young man, is constantly in conflict with his father. When Paramasivan's mother dies, his father remarries which causes him to leave home and stay with his grandmother.
