Waqt is a 2005 Indian Hindi drama film directed by Vipul Shah. Waqt is loaded with family drama and comedy. It has its comic element in the form of the bumbling servant Laxman, who misunderstands the most simple requests made of him in a style reminiscent of certain Shakespearian comic relief characters.A chronic illness leaves Ishwar with only a few months to live. His son Aditya is extremely reckless. To make him realise his responsibilities, Ishwar throws his son out of the house. The drama comes from the conflict between the father Ishwarchand and son Aditya. More comes from knowing critical facts that other characters don't know which would completely change their perspectives.
