In 1946, Sajjad Hussain(SH), agreed to give music to Tilasmi Duniya to help a relative-a small time producer by the name Altaf Hussain, under the banner of Jupiter Art. The cast was Shiraz-Hero (Bhedi Trishul, Cyclewali, Chabukwali, Midnight Mail, Jadui Bandhan etc)Sitara Devi-Heroine (kathak dancer,star,and sister of Gopi Krishna dancer)Sarla Devi (Bulbul,Her highness,Toofani taqrar etc)Sitaram Pant Kulkarni (only this film)Madhukar Gupte (Patit Pawan, Mera Imaan, Cinema queen etc)A.M.Ansari (Khota paisa, Fareb, Baazi, Toofan etc.Later on he also worked as Visual effect artist for Yaadon ki Baarat).The producer was a cheat. He had selected, intentionally, artists who were ordinary and needy, except Sitara Devi-who was well known those days.The movie had 10 songs. It was released in Dec 1946 and in April 1947 the producer Altaf Hussain ran away to Lahore as Pakistan was to be formed soon ,with all the prints and other materials without paying anything to anybody, except Sitara Devi who got her money.
