O Seeta Katha (Telugu: ఓ సీత కథ) is a 1974 Telugu-language Indian feature film directed by K. Viswanath.[1][2][3] The film won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (Silver), and Filmfare Best Film Award (Telugu).[4] The film was later remade both in Malayalam and Tamil languages. Kamal Hassan played the antagonist in Malayalam version (Mattoru Seetha) while Rajnikanth played same role in Tamil version (Moondru Mudichu).[5] The film was screened at the Asian and African film Festival at Tashkent
