Mukham Mootikal tells the story is of the present day society, represented by two brothers Gangatharan nair and Prabhakaran nair,in their 90's and 80's. Elder brother loved 'Kathakali' and forgot even to marry.The younger brother as a drama artist contributed everything to promote his drama career. And now, his children Meenakshi and Vishnu struggle for their survival.
