The film was produced by Sripadhashankar under Vaidya films and stars Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini in the lead roles, while M. N. Rajam, S. V. Subbiah, K. A. Thangavelu and K. Sarangapani play pivotal roles. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by S.
